Hygienist service resumes

We have restarted our hygienist services recently and have been contacting patients to schedule postponed appointments.

We are still facing challenges during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and have been continuously adapting to help maintain your safety but still provide the care you expect and deserve. To do this:

  • the length of your appointment now needs to be longer to ensure social distancing and the increased cleaning regime required between patients; known as the ‘fallow time’. In short, we will have to see a reduced number of patients
  • we will have to use enhanced PPE
  • we will require to rota additional staff for increased cleaning protocols

To allow us to continue to offer this important service, we have had to increase the cost of the visit to £45.  

We hope that you will understand the reasons for the increase and continue to use and support our hygienist service so you can maintain your oral health benefits into the future.
