Since graduating from the University of Dundee in 2016, David has been committed to furthering his education.
He completed his MJDF diploma with the Royal College Surgeons of England in 2018. He has a particular interest in Root Canal treatment and is currently progressing through an Endodontic post graduate qualification with the University of Chester having achieved the Diploma at the end of 2020.The qualification involved both written and practical exams, many late nights of studying as well as racking up the miles by travelling down to the University periodically.
Endodontics, normally called 'Root Canal Treatment', is a complex and technically demanding process that alleviates extreme toothache by removing the damaged, inflamed and possibly infected contents of a tooth and then thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting and filling it. By doing this you get to keep your tooth rather than having it extracted!
David is focused on providing high quality dental care. David aims to ensure all his patients needs are listened to and that clinical decisions are discussed and made together so that his patients are fully informed of their options available.
Outside of dentistry he enjoys staying active and regularly plays squash and golf.
